First: be ready to shoot! Don’t waste time to set up your camera, general setup, time or exposition prefer, hands on it, arm ready to follow your eyes.
Second: landscape is the best choise due to people move from left to the right, or in the opposite. By tye way this is the right choise.
Third: if you can, choose a camera not too heavy and easy to handle (better for the previous purpose). Got money? Leica M serie is a wonderful choise; telemeter is fast and furious. Sony A7 and RX1, or something similar would be quite good.
